Quantitative vs. Qualitative Assessment of the Effectiveness of the Removal of Vascular Lesions Using the IPL Method—Preliminary Observations

The aim of the study was to develop a methodology for acquisition skin images in visible light repeatable manner, enabling an objective assessment and comparison condition before after series IPL treatments. Thirteen patients with erythematous lesions, vascular and/or rosacea were examined. Treatments aimed at reducing erythema carried out using Lumecca™ (InMode MD Ltd., Yokneam, Israel) research used FOTOMEDICUS image system (Elfo, Łódź, Poland).
